made in Finland by Sorvikivi Oy. Sorvikivi in English is turned stone. The Sorvikivi factory is located in southeastern Finland near the town of Savitaipale. The company is owned and operated by Mr. Eero (pronounced arrow) Vainikka. He and his staff of craftsmen have been creating these beautiful fountains for over ten years. Along with these fountains they produce such things
as columns, banisters, bowls and basins and other uniquely shaped items from granite or marble. Finland has many of the world's finest granite and marble quarries. These provide Eero with a wide selection of colors to work with. Eero's work has been distributed in North and South America for the past six years by Quarry Line, Inc. of Naperville, Illinois. Quarry Line has placed these fountains in major amusement parks, shopping malls, hospitals, public parks and zoos as well as many private residences.
